A DEGENERATE SINGS

Pranas Morkūnas -  XXth century, the only Lithuanian Dadaist and imagist poet, occupies a unique place in the history of Lithuanian literature. After the creator's death, a book of his poetry was published under the title "Dainuoja degeneratas". Pranas Morkūnas's work contains irony, sarcasm, criticism of capitalism, ideas of freedom, anarchism, and a new utopian reality. In the creator's poetry, one can find a number of graphic experiments and word innovations, allowing us to look at the Lithuanian language from an unconventional perspective. I also invited various musicians to the sound performance and we experimented together.
